Like a bat
I seriously think I can hear the water boiling and the switch going off on the portable water boiler that is down the hall from my office. Yesterday, I thought I heard the click of the switch and thought “no way can i hear that”, but when I went down the hall, the water was boiling and the switch was off.
Not that any of this means anything, just find it interesting.

So if a water heater switch clicks in the woods, and no one is around to hear it, will it still make hot water?? :P

I doubt there would be an outlet in the woods. Duh!

Most water heaters are hard wired to an electrical system, and most are on 220V power making it impossible to just plug into an outlet. So it would require a lot of effort to even get a water heater in the woods, unless you own a log cabin or a weekend getaway that has electricity, so I guess the original question remains…..

That makes no sense whatsoever. I’m talking about a little portable water heater, about the size of a water pitcher.
